Varelsen was recently featured in a lengthy interview in the magazine Preview 11, a project from Broby Grafiska. If you can’t get your hands on a physical copy, the interview, along with all other content from the magazine, is available online at preview11.se.

Together with Andreas Nilsson and Folkefilm Kristofer Ström made a couple of commercials for Playing for change.
Animating “Doris” was quite time consuming. First making a reference animation in Flash and then tracing this on paper with coal.
All the paper was then shot paper by paper in Dragon.

The Swedish feature film Odjuret, hailing from the production company Dansk Skalle and directed by Martin Jern and Emil Larsson, will be premiering in Sweden this upcoming spring. Recently we helped Martin and Emil with the credit sequences for the film and today we released a mini site for the project.

Found this today whilst cleaning out my hard drive. Some behind the scenes photos from when we produced the Libresse Voice Edition commercial back in 2008. Good times.

On May 20th, Varelsen arranged it’s first annual spring party. Thanks to everyone who showed up and a huge thanks to Babian who brought all their equipment to the fourth floor and gave an amazing show!

We’ve just added two more projects to our “Work” page.
The first one is a commercial we did for Libresse together with Gothenburg based agency Trigger Momentum. To promote Libresse’s campaign Voice Edition we produced three 10 to 15 second spots that ran in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
